The cavitation washing
process is used successfully in numerous applications, from the washing of metals to that of glass, to clean molds or mechanical components, etc. The correct term for defining this process would be washing by cavitation; indeed,
this type of washers use this physical phenomenon as a mechanical aid for the removal of contaminants.
By means of high- and low-pressure waves, “introduced” into a tank by means of special transducers, the pressure of the liquid is first brought to equal its steam tension, generating a micro-bubble of steam, which then is made to implode by means of the high-pressure wave .
This generates a "hammering" effect on the surfaces of the articles immersed in the tank, making it possible to remove many contaminants, also thanks to the aid of suitable detergents. |

Ultrasonic cleaning washers may have either a single tank or a series of stations, which may vary in length, thus becoming washing lines with manual or automatic hoists, depending n the desired results.
They can also be created with carpet conveyor belts, and thus used in production lines without the need to set the pieces into baskets or onto frames.
Except in cases already dealt with or easy to solve, the machines are almost always conceived to solve specific washing and cleaning problems, and are generally customized in different ways for each customer. |
